Okay, some of you might remember this post about Stacey (edit: she now goes by "Paine"), the pathetic plagiarist/stalker. Well, she has a couple of journals, a deadjournal and a livejournal, but she doesn't actually write in them. Nope, she just copies other people's stuff (mostly mine), and generally acts like a retard. In one of the journals, she converts them into some Final Fantasy pseudo-language, but it's still obvious she's copying them.
I've been aware of this for long time, but mostly I've just been sitting back and laughing at her. At one point she posted a horribly written entry (Oh my god, she might actually have written that herself!). So, just to mess with her, I posted an entry ranting about people who can't write properly.
Can you see this one coming? I bet you can! Yup, she copied it. Another one of my friends then made fun of her for it in her comments, but all she did was post a reply so poorly worded your average elementary student should have been able to do better.
Note she also seems to be obsessed with Paine (from FFX-2), who I think is pretty cool and was considering going to a con as (because her main costume is just bad-ass) until I found out that FFX-2 sucks. Big time. Before this she had a Yuna obsession, another character I was talking about cosplaying as. Are we beginning to see a pattern here? It's pretty weird, I indicate I like something, she becomes obsessed with it.
You know what else she posts? FF8 (one of the worst Final Fantasy games, not even deserving to be called Final Fantasy) fan fiction, plagiarized from Fanfiction.net (http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=865681 is the original story, if one of you wants to report her, go ahead, I'm not going to bother).
Oh, and check this out, she posts a meme and misses the fucking point.
She also has an Elfwood gallery where she plagiarizes people's artwork (mostly furries, which is begining to make me wonder about her...). She can't write, or draw. Anything she claims to have drawn/written is probably copied from someone else.
Well, I've laughed about this myself for quite some time, now go ahead and share the amusement. Share this entry, bait her personally, whatever. She's just too damn funny to keep to myself.

You know, Stacey should probably learn how to type or something because I'll be damned if I can ever figure out what Stacey is talking about in her livejournal (I can read the deadjournal just fine), even if it is just copying and pasting your entries into her journal.
Also, the plagarism should stop, but I guess we'll all have to settle for her being banned then. Oh well, but at least as long as you have a stalker on your hands, then the hilarity will never end. Congratulations, you have yourself a genuine furrie stalker who's job is to amuse you to no end. ;)

Oi...I just looked at Amanda's art gallery on Elfwood...and I must say...if it were up to me, I'd kill her slowly and "paine-fully". Little Miss "Paine" reminds me of one of those little annoying mosquitos that travel from one person to the other, feeding off of each one and yet always getting away. She will feed from the wrong person one day...and she will be crushed. I do not look highly upon any one who is so utterly undesirable that they feel as though they must steal from another to make themselves feel better. I am an artist and poet myself and I am currently writing six different books/short stories. None of them are FanFic, though...alle my own creation. I was going to invest in a scanner for my art to post it up on Elfwood...but not anymore. I do believe that i will keep mine safe 'till it is copyrighted. *sighs* Paine is a rather pathetic excuse for even a leech. I do hope that everyone can pull thier resources together and catch this THING before she steals from anyone else.

By the way... I believe in her LJ she is speaking in the Al Bhed language from Final Fantasy X (and possibly X-2? I don't know, I never played that one). Just so you know. It just further proves her mental capacity (or lack thereof) and tendency towards obsession... I wrote down all the characters in the Al Bhed language for fun, but I'm sure as hell not going to learn it fluently.
Anyway, I'm a fellow artisan that stumbled upon your story and a couple others' whilst browsing some of my art communities... I shall keep my eyes open for this tactless little klepto (though I really don't think she'd steal my works... ^^;).

actually. i think she is living in the FF world. that's why she is wrigthing in that language, and THAT's why she is totally into FF. it's like some RPG players who can't tell the difference between REAL LIFE and THE ROLE PLAYING WORLD! mabey that's whats wrong with her...

When all that is posted is just copied from elsewhere, not much time is actually consumed in maintaining that many journals and art sites. However, to those who don't realize this, the effort must appear superhuman.
On the other hand, even when I had no life outside my internet fantasies, I never claimed credit for things not my own, and still managed to accrue a decent number of fans just by interacting with people online. And, if I could do it, it can't be that hard...

Just thought you'd like to know....
My God. I had no idea. I've known Paine for a while, mainly through a forum we both frequented. Whilst never really being friends with her, she showed me her artwork a couple of times, and I was amazed. I didn't realise that none of it was actually /hers/. Furthermore, she abused her moderator position so that she could sticky threads linking to her artwork . . . jeez.
Well, I just discovered this and have been reading over all of this Stacey crap, and I don't know whether to be pissed off at her, laugh my ASS off at her, or both. I opt for Option C.
You dunno me but hi anyways. It's just.. SOO sad and stupid, the entire Chronicles Of A Retard thing (which you guys should totally call it if you continue to document all of the crap she's pulling). I'd even go so far as to say that it's more than a little creepy. It's like the girl wants to BE you. It's understandable to be envious of the talents (artistic or otherwise) of others, but theft is never EVER justified, and there's some fifteen-mile wide line that has been LEAPT over when somebody thinks it's okay (read also: totally normal) to try and take over somebody's life and/or try to change themselves to be just like them.
In a word: "o.0"
Best of luck in everything concerning this Stacey chick. I'm downright appalled that anyone would go to this extent to steal art (especially after reading all that Dismal Chocobo wrote on her Paine the Art Thief thing on Elfwood).
That's all, cuz I'll start ranting. 'Bye.
PS: there's something wrong with a person mentally when they think it's cool to do journal entries in madeup languages...

I have been reading about this Paine person and I definately think she is bad news. It makes me glad that I don't post any artwork or fan-fiction. By the way, in the live-journal she posted results from some tests I found interesting. Here are my own made up results for those two tests judging by what I have read:

Hey. I'm not known ^^ I've been reading up on stacy (bitch) since one of my friends has been told her fiction was being stolen. Being a close friend (and sometimes collab writer) I've become concerned. It upsets me that someone could verywell go after my work next, and that she continues to steal my friends. I've never actually caught her...but now I'm worried. How can I spot her? How can I stop her? and How will I know?

Actually I know someone who used to talk to this Stacey girl in real life, and I wanted to know if Stacey is using a thing called fotolog.com . Apparently several artists work on deviantart has been stolen and we wondered if this could be this girl that you are talking about. She hasn't stolen anything from me, but I should check those links out to be sure as I post fanfiction. I'm just lucky I don't have good artwork. From what I understand about her, the guy she used to date was the same way--not a thief, but he would live in a fantasy world. He did not have heat in his apartment and he would let rats run rampant in his home. I found this out first hand when I went to visit this guy before Stacey and the friend I know were living with him. The girl was forced to--I don't know why Stacey was there. But there were rats in his stove and in his trash cans and they would name the rats. That's just disturbing. Among this, I was told all she did was play Final Fantasy and she has stolen my friends video games and sold them for cash. She also has stolen about $300-$400 dollars from him and the girl she was living with, along with some of the girl's personal belongings.
